I cleared space last night. I pushed the chairs to the perimeter, I hid the coffee tables in the twins’ bedroom, I took away unnecessary things because they didn’t need to be there, they would only get in the way.
And so I cleared space last night. I made room for new friends, something I haven’t given much opportunity for just yet. Meeting new people after a big move can make you really miss the friends who know you so well and you so long to see. But last night, I cleared space and made room for more because there is always room. Always. To my dearest friends, I miss you so very much. To my new friends, I am so happy to meet you.
