The mirror came with the house. Original. I can't say it is the best design choice but it reflects the light from the window and brightens up the space. Besides, we have never put the energy into figuring out anything different, so it has stayed. The coffee table is a place holder until we find something different. Our style has changed since it was purchased 15 years ago. Our couch is not vibrant. The chairs have bruises. I want new pillows (I always want new pillows) but with young children, what is the point? Then this happens. A coffee table turned into a stage, the mirror reflecting an audience only she can see. She can dance and sing on that coffee table all she wants. We will give her permission if it means this. THIS is why we choose not to have nice things. Not yet anyway.
