no regrets.

Leaving, if even for a few hours, takes enough effort of preparation for four children that sometimes I stand in the middle of the room, ankles deep in diapers and extra changes of clothes and hear a little voice in my head whisper, "Don't do it. Don't bother. No one will notice if you just stay home and do what you did yesterday and the day before." Then I ignore it and have no regrets.
